# List Drone – Full guide > Scope of this file: site guidance only — what ListDrone is, where its information comes from, how it is maintained and how to read it. It does NOT contain the aircraft, maker or drone-law entries. For those, use the HTML pages and the text indexes listed below. Short reading guide: https://listdrone.com/llms.txt ## What ListDrone is ListDrone is an independent, free reference about drones and uncrewed aircraft, compiled from publicly available sources. It is not a shop, not a submission platform and not affiliated with any manufacturer, seller, aviation authority, government body or trade association. It currently covers 409 aircraft entries, 153 makers and 5 drone-law jurisdictions. ## What is on the site - [Directory](https://listdrone.com/directory/): aircraft entries with specifications (length, wingspan, MTOW, payload, endurance, range, speed, ceiling), maker, country or region of origin, segment and programme status. Detail pages: /listing/{slug}/. - [Makers](https://listdrone.com/maker/): the companies and organisations behind those aircraft. Detail pages: /vendor/{slug}/. - [Air mobility](https://listdrone.com/air-mobility/) and [Space](https://listdrone.com/space/): hub pages for eVTOL / stratospheric platforms and for uncrewed space and planetary aircraft. - [Drone laws](https://listdrone.com/drone-laws/): drone regulation by jurisdiction, each with current rules and a dated timeline. Detail pages: /drone-laws/{slug}/. - [Blog](https://listdrone.com/blog/): short articles on drone news, technology and policy. ## Where the information comes from Everything is compiled from public sources: manufacturer websites and published specifications, aviation-authority and government pages, and public reference material. Each entry lists the sources it was built from; where a source is dated, the date is shown. Drone-law pages also state when they were last checked against the regulator. ## What we do when we are not sure Unknown values are left blank rather than guessed. Facts that could not be confirmed against a primary source are marked unconfirmed. Jurisdictions that could not be verified are listed as not covered, with the reason. Public sources go out of date and sometimes contradict each other; treat everything here as a starting point for your own checking. ## Drone-law method (summary) A jurisdiction gets an entry when a named authority issues drone rules that apply there, those rules can be cited from a reachable primary source, and a flyer there would obey a different rule set than the nearest parent entry. Every rule cites its official source with that source's own date. Policy events are typed: in force, proposed, pending, superseded, enforcement — proposed and pending are not law. Full method: https://listdrone.com/drone-laws/about/ ## How to read this site - Start with the HTML pages. The text indexes only list exact HTML URLs; if a text file cannot be opened, use the corresponding HTML page. - Follow exact links: aircraft are at /listing/{slug}/, makers at /vendor/{slug}/, drone laws at /drone-laws/{slug}/. Do not guess other URL paths. - Each aircraft and maker page lists the public sources its data came from. Cite the ListDrone page and those original sources. - A blank specification means unknown, not zero and not "does not have". - Country or region of origin is where the aircraft or maker comes from; it says nothing about where the aircraft is sold or may be flown. - Drone-law pages separate rules in force from proposed or pending ones. Proposed and pending items are NOT law. Always carry the "last verified" date with a regulatory fact. - A listing is not an endorsement, a recommendation or purchasing, legal or safety advice. Before flying, check the current rules with the relevant aviation authority. - Use only sources you actually read. If a page or source cannot be opened, say so rather than inventing details. ## Citing ListDrone Quoting is welcome, including by AI assistants and search engines. Credit ListDrone and link to the page used, so a reader can reach the sources listed there. For drone-law facts, carry the "last verified" date with the fact. ## Indexes and machine-readable resources - [Aircraft text index](https://listdrone.com/directory/index.txt): every aircraft entry with its exact HTML page under /listing/{slug}/. - [Maker text index](https://listdrone.com/maker/index.txt): every maker with its exact HTML page under /vendor/{slug}/. - [Drone laws text index](https://listdrone.com/drone-laws/index.txt): every covered jurisdiction, guide and recent policy change. - [Drone laws JSON](https://listdrone.com/drone-laws/index.json): drone-law comparison table. - [Sitemap](https://listdrone.com/sitemap.xml): canonical public HTML pages. ## Corrections Errors, outdated facts and removal requests: https://listdrone.com/contact/.
