Introduce:

Developed by the Russian company Kronshtadt Group as a reconnaissance system with the ability to map the terrain, mapping and transmitting coordinate targets. The aircraft design is similar to the American MQ-1 Predator / MQ-9 Reaper.It is a family of Russian MALE(Medium-altitude long-endurance unmanned air vehicle) UAV developed by Kronstadt Group. There are several variants of the drone, both for Russia’s domestic and export market.

The prototype air vehicle is equipped with a Rotax 914 engine, power 86 kW (115 hp), equipped with a turbocharger, a single fixed-pitch propeller type AV-115, 1.9 meters in diameter. The airframes of serial production will be of Russian origin of the APD110 / 120 engine. Orion is capable of delivering ISR, FLIR, SAR and other systems.
