Privacy Policy

The short version
ListDrone is a static reference site. It has no accounts, no registration, no comments, no user uploads and no forms. You are never asked for personal information in order to read it, and nothing you read here is sold or traded. The only things that touch your data are the ordinary mechanics of serving a web page, and — where they are used — third-party advertising and affiliate links, which are described below.
What is collected automatically
The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web server or content delivery network, it processes the technical details of each request — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, the time, and referring page — to deliver the page, to keep the site available, and to block abuse and attacks. These records are kept only for that purpose, are not used to build a profile of you, and are not sold.
Aggregate traffic statistics may be reviewed to see which pages are read. They are counts, not identities.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics cookies of its own. Any cookie you receive while reading ListDrone comes from a third party — an advertising network, or a merchant you reached through an affiliate link. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them.
Advertising
No advertising is shown on this site today. It may be added later to help cover hosting costs. If and when it is, this section is updated before the first ad appears, and it will name the advertising networks actually in use.
What will apply when advertising is shown:
- Ads are selected and served by third-party advertising networks, not by ListDrone. Those networks may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technology to choose which ads you see, including on the basis of your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Each network's own privacy policy governs what it collects and how long it keeps it. Those policies are linked here once a network is in use.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from a large number of vendors at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu, and through your browser's or device's own ad-tracking settings. Opting out does not remove ads; it means they are not personalised.
- Where the law requires consent before personalised advertising or non-essential cookies — including in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — you are asked first and your choice is respected.
- If a Google advertising product is ever used here, Google's additional terms apply: third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits, you can opt out in Google Ads Settings, and Google's handling of data from sites that use its services is described in its own policy.
In no case does ListDrone receive your personal information from an advertising network, or choose which individual ads you are shown.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. Following one may set a cookie belonging to that merchant or its affiliate network so a referral can be attributed; from that point their privacy policy applies, not this one. No extra cost is added to you, and no personal information about you is passed to them by this site.
Links and embedded content from other sites
Pages here link to external sites, and some pages may embed material such as an image hosted elsewhere. Loading embedded content works exactly as if you had visited that other site: the site it comes from can see your request and may set its own cookies. Their policies apply to that, not this one.
If you email us
If you send a correction, a rights or removal request, or any other message, your email address and the content of your message are kept only to deal with it and to check the correction against sources. They are not added to any mailing list, not used for marketing, and not shared except where necessary to resolve what you wrote about or where the law requires it.
Children
The site is a general-audience reference and is not directed at children. No personal information is knowingly collected from anyone, children included.
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use a private window.
- Use the advertising opt-outs linked above, and your browser's or device's own ad-tracking settings.
- Ask what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by email. In practice this is normally nothing more than an email thread you started.
Changes
This policy may be updated — for example if advertising is added or changed. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
