About ListDrone
ListDrone is an independent hobby project: a free reference about drones and unmanned aircraft, compiled from publicly available sources.
What is on this site
- Directory — aircraft entries with specifications, maker and country or region of origin.
- Makers — the companies and organisations behind those aircraft.
- Drone Laws — drone regulation by jurisdiction, with a dated timeline of policy changes.
- Blog — short articles on drone news, technology and policy.
Where the information comes from
Everything here is compiled from public sources — manufacturer websites and published specifications, aviation authority and government pages, and public reference material. None of it is original research, and nothing on this site is confidential or privileged.
Each entry lists the sources it was built from so you can check them yourself. Where a source is dated, that date is shown. The drone law pages go further and state when each page was last checked against the regulator; the method is described on how the drone law catalog is built.
What we do when we are not sure
Unknown values are left blank rather than guessed, and facts that could not be confirmed against a primary source are marked as unconfirmed. Where a whole jurisdiction could not be verified, it is listed as not covered, with the reason. Publishing the gap is deliberate.
Even so, public sources go out of date, contradict each other, and are sometimes simply wrong. Treat everything here as a starting point for your own checking, not as a final answer.
What this site is not
- Not affiliated with anyone. ListDrone is not connected to, endorsed by, or acting for any manufacturer, seller, aviation authority, government body or trade association. Company, product and organisation names are used for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.
- Not advice. Nothing here is legal, safety, aviation or purchasing advice. Drone rules change often and vary by location; before you fly, check the current rules with the relevant aviation authority.
- Not a shop, and not a submission platform. Nothing is sold here, and the site does not accept user uploads, listings or comments.
- No warranty. The content is provided as is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, and is used entirely at your own risk. See the Terms of Use.
Corrections, images and removals
If something here is wrong, out of date, or should not be published — including any image or text you hold the rights to — tell us and it will be corrected or removed. Corrections are checked against sources before being published. This is the fastest way to improve a page, and requests of this kind are taken seriously.
Citing and quoting ListDrone
Quoting from here is welcome, including by AI assistants and search engines. If you use something, please credit ListDrone and link to the page you took it from, so a reader can reach the sources listed there. Where a drone law page is involved, carry the "last verified" date with the fact — a regulatory figure without its date is the thing that misleads people.

How the site is paid for
ListDrone is free to read. It currently carries no advertising and earns nothing. Advertising and affiliate links may be added later to cover hosting costs, and when that happens it will be visible rather than buried:
- Advertising. Any ads would be selected and served by a third-party advertising network, not by ListDrone, and such networks may use cookies or similar technology to choose what you see. The Privacy Policy sets out what that means for your data and names the networks actually in use.
- Affiliate links. Some outbound links may become affiliate links, which can earn a commission on a purchase at no extra cost to you.
- They do not buy influence. Advertising and affiliate arrangements never decide what gets an entry here, what a page says, or the order anything appears in. Entries are written the same way whether or not a link earns anything.
- Nothing here is sponsored. No entry, article or ranking is paid for or supplied by a manufacturer or seller. If that ever changes, the page in question will say so plainly.
- Prices go stale. Any price shown comes from a public source and may be out of date or wrong. Check the seller's own page before buying.
