BSK Defense was a Greek aerospace and defence company headquartered in Chania, Crete, founded on 30 May 2008 as the successor to Velos O.E., a firm established in 1982 that built aerial target and observation products for foreign companies and armed forces. BSK Defense worked in UAV and marine-vessel design and construction, digital-systems research and development, and control-automation and remote-control systems.

The company's product line included the Phaethon family of UAVs alongside the Ideon, Kyon and Erevos designs, the Seirios 65 and Seirios 95 unmanned surface vessels, the Nemesis, (H)Yperion and Panas target drones, and its own UAV engines, including the VRJ-230A jet engine used in the Nemesis B target system. From 2010, BSK Defense took part in the Makedon (HSC-1) cruise-missile programme with other Greek firms including Axon Engineering, developing a planned 4.5 m, 1,050 kg missile before the project was cancelled as Greece cut its defence budget.

According to Wikipedia, BSK Defense is no longer in business; its infobox lists a dissolution date of 31 December 2013, while the article text states the company went out of business in 2018. Its former website, listed in this site's legacy record, could not be reached at the time of writing.
