WB Group
WB Group is a Polish defence-electronics and aeronautics company, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Ożarów Mazowiecki, near Warsaw. It is one of Europe's largest privately held defence contractors and Poland's second-largest arms manufacturer, building military communications equipment, command-and-control systems, fire-control systems, unmanned aerial systems and loitering munitions.
The group's unmanned-systems products include the FT5 tactical UAS, developed for the Polish Armed Forces' Orlik programme, and the Warmate loitering munition. WB Group acquired UAV developer Flytronic in 2009; Flytronic's FlyEye platform, used by Polish and Ukrainian forces, is a separate product from the FT5.
WB Group operates through several specialised subsidiaries covering avionics, simulation and training systems, and battlefield management software, alongside its core unmanned-systems and munitions business. The group supplies the Polish Armed Forces as its primary customer and has expanded its export footprint as European demand for tactical drones and loitering munitions has grown since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
