Idetec
Idetec, styled IDETEC Unmanned Systems, is a Chilean small-UAS manufacturer based in Santiago, Chile, with a secondary office in Homestead, Florida, in the United States. The company designs, builds and supports its own fixed-wing and multirotor drones rather than reselling third-party airframes, and describes itself as having a decade of experience in the UAS industry with projects delivered across multiple countries.
Idetec's product line is aimed at precision agriculture, mapping and surveying, and security/law-enforcement work rather than defence use. The Stardust is the company's flagship fixed-wing mapping platform, in production since 2009 for operations at high altitude. The AG-Wing is a simplified, lower-cost fixed-wing sibling aimed at entry-level precision-agriculture customers. The EVO-Cam is a fixed-wing platform built to carry heavier survey payloads such as RTK-capable cameras and multispectral sensors. The iMK-8 and iMK-4 are multirotor VTOL systems used for close-in mapping and security missions, including stadium security deployments.
Idetec has exhibited at industry events including AUVSI, the UVS International Latin America UAS Conference and the Commercial UAV Show, and lists customers across several countries for its agriculture and mapping systems.
