Pavo20 Pro II

BetaFPV · China · also known as BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro II · Updated

Pavo20 Pro II is a 2.2-inch ducted-propeller FPV quadcopter developed by BetaFPV of China, the second generation of the company's Pavo20 Pro cinewhoop line. It is built for close-proximity cinematic FPV flying, with fully shrouded propellers that let it fly near people and obstacles.

Overview

The Pavo20 Pro II continues BetaFPV's Pavo whoop series, which sits above the company's smaller Meteor and Air lines and is built around DJI's O4 digital video system rather than analogue FPV gear. BetaFPV sells the aircraft as a bare PNP (plug-and-play) airframe or with DJI's O4 Air Unit Pro video system factory-fitted.

Design and capabilities

BetaFPV states a weight of 72.6 g for the bare PNP airframe and 116.2 g with the O4 Pro video system fitted, excluding battery, built around a 93.9 mm wheelbase. It is powered by LAVA Series 1104 brushless motors — rated 7,200 KV for 3S flying or 5,500 KV for 4S — turning 2.2-inch, three-blade propellers. The 4S build uses an integrated Cube 3-in-1 flight controller and 30 A ESC, while the 3S build uses a smaller F4 all-in-one board with a 20 A ESC.

BetaFPV's own flight-time figures range from 7 minutes 30 seconds on a 3S 580 mAh battery up to 10 minutes 30 seconds on a 4S 680 mAh pack. The airframe supports DJI's O4 Air Unit Pro or standard O4 Air Unit for digital video, with mounting brackets and a vertical ND-filter mount sized for each.
