History and products
Dassault Aviation is prime contractor for nEUROn, a stealthy UCAV demonstrator developed with Italy, Sweden, Spain, Greece and Switzerland and first flown in 2012, which has since conducted flight and weapons trials in France, Italy and Sweden. The programme was designed to give European industry experience with stealth shaping, autonomous flight control and internal weapons carriage that feeds into potential future combat-air systems. Dassault is also an industrial partner, alongside Airbus and Leonardo, on the multinational Eurodrone MALE UAS programme, and continues to develop unmanned-teaming concepts for its future fighter studies.
