Quantum Systems
Quantum Systems is a German manufacturer of fixed-wing eVTOL unmanned aircraft, founded in 2015 by former Bundeswehr officer and military helicopter pilot Florian Seibel and headquartered in Gilching, near Munich.
History and products
Quantum Systems began with agricultural and surveying applications, releasing its Tron series of eVTOL mapping UAS in 2017. Its Trinity series, a tactical fixed-wing eVTOL with three vertical-lift propellers and a modular payload bay, became the company's flagship platform. Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Quantum Systems shifted toward dual-use and defence work, supplying its Vector tactical reconnaissance UAS to Ukraine, Germany and other European militaries in partnership with autopilot maker Auterion. The company has also developed the Sparta mothership drone concept and the Reliant drone carrier for the US market.
