XAG
XAG is a Chinese agricultural robotics company founded in 2007 by Peng Bin, Justin Gong and Dylan Jeng, and headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong. Originally known as XAircraft, the company released its first quadcopter in 2010 and has focused on crop-spraying drones since 2013, growing into one of the largest agricultural drone makers in China.
XAG's product line centres on the P-series of multirotor agricultural drones, built around interchangeable task modules for spraying, granule spreading, field mapping and small cargo transport, including the P150 Max. The company also sells the R-series of ground rovers, autopilot consoles and smart-farm IoT sensors, and operates a nationwide RTK base-station network in China to support precision positioning for its aircraft.
The company says its products operate in more than 60 countries and regions, and it has expanded beyond agriculture into joint drone-delivery trials, including cargo-flight work with Airbus in Guangzhou. XAG markets its systems to farms, agricultural service providers and, more recently, dealer networks in markets such as the United States.
