Xi'an ASN Technology Group

Xi'an ASN Technology Group, also referred to as Aisheng or Xi'an Aisheng Technology Group, is a Chinese unmanned-aircraft developer founded in 1984 and based in Xi'an, Shaanxi. The organisation grew out of the Northwestern Polytechnical University UAV Research Institute — also known as the 365th Institute — one of China's earliest dedicated UAV research bodies, and it remains closely linked to the university.

ASN Technology Group's best-known products are its ASN-2xx family of fixed-wing tactical reconnaissance UAVs, including the ASN-206 reconnaissance and electronic-warfare drone and its enlarged, longer-range derivative the ASN-207. The company also developed the ASN-209, marketed internationally as the "Silver Eagle," a medium-altitude, medium-endurance tactical UAV. Later derivatives built on this family include the WZ-6 and the armed BZK-006.

The ASN-209/Silver Eagle has been exported, with Algeria and Egypt operating the type alongside China's People's Liberation Army; Egypt later began domestic assembly of the aircraft under a technology-transfer arrangement.
