Introduce:

Watupá-e (Vulture in Yanomami language) is a resilient small electric aircraft, light enough to be hand launched, but able to perform high-endurance tactical missions ( ±5 hours), and long-range, wide-area aerial surveys, withstanding adverse weather conditions.

Manufactured since 2014, Watupá-e 2022 is now a fully Mil compliant version, with a new Kevlar reinforced highly rugged, resilient airframe, with very low detection signature, and a new optional low-noise engine with a quasi-stealth propeller (patent pending).

Watupá-e (Vulture in Yanomami language) is a small electric aircraft, light enough to be hand launched, but able to perform high-endurance tactical missions (±5 hours), and long-range, wide-area aerial surveys, withstanding adverse weather conditions.

Manufactured since 2014, Watupá-e 2022 is now fully Mil compliant, with a new aramide reinforced highly rugged, resilient airframe, with very low detection signature, and a new (optional) low-noise engine with a quasi-stealth propeller (patent pending).

The new 2022 airframe design has:

  • A 73% increase in payload capacity (volume and weight), exceeding any competitor in its category.
  • Higher endurance of up to 6 hours.
  • Sturdy structure for deep stall belly-landing on the most rugged surfaces.

The reliability and simple logistics of Watupá-e makes it the best platform for mobile operations in harsh environmental conditions. This airframe can carry up to 2.5kg of payload, in a 700mm x 200mm x 150mm compartment.

  • A successfully tested gimbal with EO/IR geolocking & geotracking, and laser rangefinder, orA photogrammetry Malta-cross 5-camera integrated setup, or

    A Lidar profiler with integrated INS/GPS L1/L2/L5 and optional Sony A5100 camera. Lidar accuracy is ≤10cm@110m AGL, detection range of 90m@10%, 64-beam laser lines, max. range of 450m@50%, range accuracy of 2 cm (1σ @ 20 m), Triple echo 720,000 Points/Sec, POS unit at 200Hz, with Pitch /Roll Accuracy 0.015°, Heading Accuracy 0.040°, and Position Accuracy ≤0.05m.
