China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC)

China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) is a Chinese state-owned aerospace and defence conglomerate, officially established in July 1999 and headquartered in Haidian District, Beijing. It is the main contractor for China's space programme, with subsidiaries that design, build and launch the Long March family of rockets and most of the satellites for China's Beidou navigation constellation. CASC also produces strategic and tactical missile systems, and non-defence products including machinery, chemicals and medical equipment.

CASC markets its unmanned aircraft under the Rainbow (CH, for 彩虹, "cǎihóng") brand, built by its China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics (CAAA) subsidiary. The Rainbow family spans small tactical and target UAVs up to large medium-altitude long-endurance types, including the CH-804 near-range reconnaissance UAV and the CH-805 stealth target drone listed on this site, alongside better-known medium-altitude long-endurance types such as the CH-4 and CH-5.

CASC has exported CH-series unmanned aircraft to armed forces in more than ten countries across the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa, making the Rainbow line one of China's most widely sold UAV export families.
